Out of Rancor.

ran·cor n. Bitter, long-lasting resentment; deep-seated ill will.

How do we wave goodbye to feelings of rancor?

Hi, I'm tacticianjenro, 19 years old, from the Philippines. In my blog are different works of poetry, my thoughts and emotions, and some of my art. And some other random stuff and musings.

Poetry: So Many, So Few

So Many, So Few

Poetry by: tacticianjenro (outofrancor.tumblr.com)

So many people

So many friends;

If only just one

Would be willing to lend

An ear for one’s heart to mend.

So many people,

Yet few who would spend;

To think of him selfless

And aid he will send.

Yet none, I see none

Willing to think less—

To sacrifice himself.

Always, these actions

For the benefit of who?

Yourself, yourself!

It’s a fact, that’s true.

No one would care to even see,

All is blind, and deaf to humanity.

Will someone open these senses?

Will someone open their selflessness?

Be a light in this mess.

Let your guard down.

Let others step on you.

Let others try to make you frown.

But you won’t break down.

You always go and flow with the river,

Always the receiver, never the giver.

So much joy you take, you take for yourself.

But in the end you’re lost;

In the end you’re dead.

So hate their actions, hate what they’re doing;

But love them all, love their whole being.

Be different, LOVE, and let light shine through

Not just for your benefit,  but those who you speak to.

So many people,

So many friends.

So little of them

Willing to make amends.

So many hearts,

broken and bruised.

So little working,

to love and mend those.

So many blind,

so many deaf,

so many strangers

who love only themselves.

So many people,

and hell’s breaking loose—

How ‘bout you,

which path would you choose?
